  Tuscan Heart is the BEST in Florence! - We had limited time for a day in port on our cruise and I wanted to see the Renaissance Side of Florence including the inside of the Academia and Uffizi... read more gallery with a knowledgeable guide on the art and history to see specific artists.. Danny of Tuscan Heart arranged an AMAZING day for us. Our lovely driver Theresa was at the port early to use all of our time well, entertained us with stories and history on the drive from Livorno and took us to a beautiful overview to see the Duomo and City view for photos before having us meet our history guide Matteo. He was so knowledgeable about the art and best way to get through each museum (which you should spend full days on -- we only had time for the highlights!) but Matteo was able to get me to all of the specific paintings I wanted to see and then some. He then took us on a thorough walking tour of Florence with great historical information on the Bapistry Doors, the Duomo, Oranmichele church, Dante's House, past Pitti Palace, Ponte Vecchio, the Arno -- you name it. He also took us to a lovely restaurant away from the crowds and then helped us find *the* best gelato location (our personal mission at every port) in Florence before delivering us to Theresa to return to the ship on time. I will tell all my friends and family who often travel to Italy that this is the way to go -- I will definitely use them again, what a marvelous day, a true highlight of our cruise!! We just completed our week... read more long stay in Tuscany and it could not have gone so well without the help of Dany and his professional team of drivers.

I must have spent the better part of a month creating and revising our own itinerary for 14 people all over Tuscany. Dany responded every single time and could not have been more helpful and appreciative.

From arriving in Rome, to our beautiful, but very remote villa high on the hills of Pelago, to Florence, Montepluciano, Siena, a Chianti vineyard, all over Tuscany for 7 days straight, in 2 vans....Dany and his team got us where we needed to be.

Never late, always professional, and besides that...so much fun to have around.
The group enjoyed his company so much some were insistent on driving with him.

Dany will forever be part of our Tuscan Story and 100% we will refer him to all those that are heading his way. Hopefully it will be us again SOON.
